Cleveland's Trail Across The Water, located in Cleveland, Oklahoma, is on the abandoned right-of-way of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas (MKT) railroad bed. It was designated as a National Recreation Trail in 1984. The trail runs for 2.5 miles between Jodebo Road south of the town and the Arkansas River opposite Osage. The trail ends at the old trestle crossing the river. The trail follows a wooded corridor with surrounding wetlands and riverine habitats. Year-round watch for waterfowl and shorebirds.
