Often described as "The Backbone of Northwest Arkansas", the Razorback Greenway spans 40 miles north/south throughout the heart of the region and connects the municipalities of Fayetteville, Johnson, Springdale, Lowell, Rogers, and Bentonville, as well as their countless communities and neighborhoods and the University of Arkansas. As the central cycling hub for the region, the Razorback Greenway connects to an ever-increasing network of city and regional trails including Tsa-La-Gi in Fayetteville, Railyard Loop in Rogers, Trail of Two Cities in Bentonville and many more. The Razorback Greenway is about more than just transportation, however, as it also provides access to scenic downtowns and world-class art, shopping, dining, and entertainment at locations of regional significance such as the Walmart AMP Music Pavilion, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, The Momentary and other spots to enjoy the best music, food and art that the area has to offer. In addition, many of the elite mountain biking tracks in the area can be accessed from the Razorback Greenway as well, along with Fortune-level business at the Walmart, Tyson Foods and J.B. Hunt Transportation home offices. The Razorback Greenway is managed through a unique, collaborative multi-jurisdictional agency responsible solely for the Razorback Greenway system. The Razorback Greenway Alliance is made up of representatives from each of the municipalities that the Greenway passes through - taking the trail users from cities across the region into account. The Alliance and the seven municipalities are responsible for the maintenance, promotion and marketing, and general management of the Razorback Greenway. As Northwest Arkansas continues to grow, the Razorback Greenway grows along with it, offering unparalleled access to some of the most exciting amenities the Natural State has to offer. The Razorback Greenway also offers sustainable options for active and alternative transportation for those commuting around Northwest Arkansas. Put on your running shoes or pump up your bike tires, because you can find all of the region's major destinations along the Razorback Greenway. Cycling is an experience that's taken seriously in the region, which is home to some of the most advanced trail systems in the country. Many in Northwest Arkansas consider the Razorback Greenway a way of life, and once you hit the trail you'll see why.
