Recently reconstructed following a flood in 1996, the trail has a spectacular variety of scenery - canyons, waterfalls, and forests on the route.
Nestled in the lower elevation of Oregon's Cascade Mountains lies a temperate rainforest. It's here that the Trail of Ten Falls/Canyon Trail can be found. The Canyon Trail and the falls descend to a forest floor covered with ferns, mosses, and wildflowers. You will also find stands of Douglas fir, hemlock, and cedar. While the park is visited by thousands every year, it's large enough for you to find quiet places to sit and watch for birds

Four of these falls have an amphitheater-like surrounding where you can walk behind the falls and feel the misty, crisp spray.

Majestic
Silver Falls State Park, and in particular this trail, is one of my favorite places in Oregon. It's really quite spectacular-- ten waterfalls all on one hike, all different, all beautiful. I've hiked this in summer and it nice, but the falls are lower. Best time is winter or spring to see the falls majesty of the falls. There can be ice down in the canyon in winter, so watch your step.
