The lodgepole pine forest trail follows portions of early 1900 horse logging trail. A portion of each of the three loops follows alongside creeks.
Location: 5 miles west of Red Lodge, MT., In Custer National Forest, 5 mi. W of Red Lodge on Forest Rd. 1476.

Silver Run National Recreation Trail #102 is 5.0 miles long and is a popular cross-country ski trail, as well as a hiking and mountain biking area. The trail follows the West Fork of Rock Creek and has three possible loops. The trail is open for the following uses: hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and cross-country skiing.
