Location: Along I-70, joins Frisco to Vail through Copper Mountain

  • States: Colorado

The Vail Pass/Tenmile Canyon National Recreation Trail begins at Gore Creek Campground and ends at Copper Mountain. This paved trail starts where Bighorn Road ends follows what used to be old Highway 6 over Vail Pass, and then descends to Copper Mountain. It is a popular biking trail, so be careful to stay on the right side of the trail as bikers descend toward you.
