Along this newly paved trail through the historic gorge area, hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers will be able to explore the geological and historical significance of the Whitewater Gorge, as well as its natural rugged beauty. Fossils found along the trail are from animals that lived about 450 million years ago on the bottom of a warm shallow sea that covered this area.
